Some links on Zorua's Den earn a commission. If you click one and then buy something, sign up, or place an order, the retailer or platform may pay this site a cut. It never costs you more than going there directly.

Where

• Shop Deals and Price Errors — retailer links served through affiliate catalogues.
• Food Delivery — Uber Eats and DoorDash offers, through impact.com.
• Sweepstakes — some operator links.
• Release Board buy buttons — some retailers, not all.

Links that pay nothing sit beside links that do, and they look the same. Assume any link leaving this site might be one.

What that shapes, honestly

The usual line here is that commissions do not influence anything. That is not quite true of this site, and the accurate version is more useful:

• Which retailers can appear at all is shaped by it. Shop Deals is built out of affiliate catalogue feeds, so a retailer with no feed is not in that list however good its price is. That is a limit of the data, and worth remembering when a list looks complete.
• The ranking within them is not. An item is scored on what this site has actually watched the price do, and where the retailer’s own “original” price disagrees with observed history, the observed number wins. Commission is not an input to any score, sort or threshold, and no operator has ever paid for placement, for a mention, or for a better write-up.
• Sweepstakes bonus percentages are computed, not supplied. The figure comes from the offer’s own numbers through a database trigger, so an operator cannot hand the site a flattering one.

Why it is here

The links were already the point of the pages. If a click that was going to happen anyway pays for the hosting, it may as well.

This is the disclosure the US Federal Trade Commission expects, in the place it expects it. There is a short version beside the links themselves, because a disclosure nobody passes on the way to the link is not a disclosure.
