The cards

Zorua's Den has a card game in it, and the cards in that game are real Pokémon cards: real names, real set numbers, real artwork. None of them belong to this site. This page says who they do belong to, where the list of them came from, and what does and does not change hands here.

We do not own any of the cards

Not the cards, not the artwork, not the photographs of them. Pokémon and the Pokémon Trading Card Game belong to their rights holders, every card illustration belongs to the artist credited on it, and this site is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of them. Their names are used here to say which card is being talked about, which is the only thing they are used for.

This is a fan project. One person runs it, for a Discord server of friends, and it is a game about collecting rather than a shop.

Where the catalog comes from

The card list is read from PokemonTCG/pokemon-tcg-data, the open data set on GitHub that used to sit behind the Pokémon TCG API. It is a public compilation of facts about cards: set names, card names, numbers, rarities, types and artist credits. A script pulls a few sets at a time and writes them to this site’s database. There is no key, nothing is paid for it, and the files are the ones the project publishes for anyone to read.

That repository does not ship a licence file of its own, so this page does not claim one for it. What we do with it is what it is published for: read the facts, and credit them. The project itself is now in maintenance and its API is due to be switched off in March 2027, which is why this site reads the files directly rather than the API.

The pictures are not copied here. They are loaded straight from the image hosts the data set points at, images.pokemontcg.io and images.scrydex.com, so your browser fetches them from those hosts rather than from us. If a picture is ever unavailable the game draws a plain panel in its place instead.

The coins and the gold are made up

Coins, gold, packs, prices, condition grades, the auction house, the shop and the casino are all invented and exist only inside this site. They cannot be bought. They cannot be cashed out. There is no way to put real money in and no way to take any out, and there is no payment processor anywhere in this site because there is nothing to pay for.

A price shown in the game is a game number. It is not an appraisal, it has no relationship to what a real copy of that card is worth, and nobody will buy anything from you at it. The condition grades drawn onto the pictures are generated by this site and say nothing about any real card.

Nobody earns money from the cards

No card is ever sold here for real money, by us or by anybody else. The cards in the game are entries in a database; they are not shipped, traded for currency, or redeemable for anything. Trades between players move game coins and nothing else.

Some links elsewhere on this site, on the deals and sweepstakes pages, do pay a commission if you buy something from the retailer at the other end. None of those are cards from this game and none of them are sales by us. That is set out on the affiliate disclosure, and it is the only money this site is connected to at all.

If you hold the rights to something here

If you are a rights holder or an artist and you want a card, an image or a credit changed or removed, write to the address on the contact page and it will be done. There is nothing to argue about: this is a game for a handful of people and no part of it is worth anybody being unhappy over.
